Whew, well I haven’t blogged or done a Facebook note in a while, honestly because I haven’t had time, the past year and a half or so has been one of the toughest in the Bolduc Family’s 10 year history, we have seen ups and downs and have had our share of emotional, physical and spiritual turmoil. I think some of it has come from the Devil, some from the world and some from our own flesh, but I’m thankful for Romans 8:28 “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose” and I know that nothing that has touched our lives hasn’t passed through the very hand of God to get to us.
Since October 2010, Krystal and I have taken a break from full time ministry to take some time to let God heal us, and to refocus on Him. God has done Eph. 3:20 in our lives, far more than we ever expected, it’s so amazing to have the privilege to love and serve a God who knows us better than we know ourselves, who heals us, hugs us, gives us gifts, and cries with us when we are hurting, and who uses all that, to build the character that He wants in us, to accomplish His purpose. So I guess that brings me to explaining the title of this post.
As of June 12, the Bolduc Family will be jumping back in, head first, all in, to full time ministry. We will be joining the family at Crossroads Church in Freeport, Illinois and will be helping lay the foundations to start a campus in a little town called Winnebago. (Disclaimer-We will not be living in a Winnebago, that’s the name of the town) We have had the privilege to visit with pastor Keith Boyer and the staff and will be joining up with some longtime friends, Dan and Torey Goodson to be a part of what God is doing at Crossroads.
Krystal and I, needless to say are humbled that God would choose us, to be a part of what He is doing in Illinois, and are beyond excited about what the future holds for the Bolduc family, we know that there is NOTHING that we cannot face and accomplish, not in our own power and strength, but in His. We are thankful to be able to spread the message of Jesus Christ and his Grace to the people of Winnebago, not to mention how cool it is to be living in a town with such a cool name.
So that’s the plan, we were chomping at the bit to share sooner, but wanted to let the core group of people in Winnebago know first. Stay tuned to the blog for updates on the journey, for now we are hot on the heels of a launch scheduled for the fall, we have a lot of groundwork to do, not to mention moving a family of four 1000+ miles across the country, but like I said, NOTHING, and I mean NOTHING is impossible with God, and to HIM and only HIM be the Glory, Honor and Praise.
