In the story where Jesus feeds the 5000, he does this with 5 loaves and 2 fish. I can imagine the disciples during this process, having some doubts as to whether or not Jesus was literally going to be able to pull this off. As Jesus gave thanks to God for the meal, broke it, and gave it to the disciples to hand out, I don’t doubt for a moment, that they looked at the crumbs in their hands, and thought Jesus was crazy. And when they turned around and saw the crowd, they had to take the steps of faith that what they had in their hands, would suffice the needs of the crowd.
Don’t we do that sometimes in our lives, we get full of doubt, full of fear that what we have in our hands, that our crumbs, are not going to satisfy the needs of what God has called us to. And that’s when we have to take steps of faith, when we have to put more trust in the one who gave us the crumbs, than the crumbs themselves.
God has called us all to team together, so see a vision so much greater than ourselves accomplished, today, let’s not focus on the crumbs, but rather on the one who gave them to us, with His power, nothing is impossible.
2 Corinthians 12:9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
Prayer Focus: Pray for the people on our teams, that are struggling, pray that God would draw our focus to Him, rather than our strengths or weaknesses.
